Our interactors, Laynisha, Xin Yi, Phyllis and Mindy attended the joint District Interact Conference (DIC) from the 6th of December 2013 until the 9th of December 2013 in Glory Beach Resort, Post Dickson.
We charted a bus from Kuala Lumpur with other interactors from the same area. Interactors from all over Malaysia and Singapore attended the conference. It gave us a really great chance to mingle around and get to know more people. It was truly an eye opening experience.
It was a 4 days 3 nights conference and everyone was divided into groups which gave each and everyone a chance to get to know interactors from different states better. Throughout the whole conference, different talks and fun activities were held. The activities were aimed to promote team work and also leadership. Some of the activities held were community service project, leadership talk, ice breaking session, talent night, international understanding dinner night, financial planning, CPR awareness, project management, tug of war and many more.

We had a really great time. We met many people and also gained new experiences which will never be forgotten. These experiences taught us and the other interactors a lot on how to handle difficult situations and ways in becoming a great leader. We and all the participants learned about values which we can never gain in classrooms. The conference was very fun and was very worth it of going.
