District Interact Conference

The 42nd District Interact Conference (DIC) was organized by the Rotary International District 3300 and was hosted by the Rotary Club of Seremban. This year's DIC was held on the 3rd to 5th of December 2010 at the Royale Bintang Resort, Seremban.

Formal night.

This conference was certainly a great opportunity for all to meet fellow Interators from other clubs in the District. This was a major event that unites young minds who share the same goals to share experience and to get new ideas. The conference serves to develop personal confidence and leadership skills. We absolutely had great memories of a pleasant weekend with other Interactors, a wealth of new friends and had gained a lot of knowledge and information from the sessions.

OPERATION GO GREEN
SAVE THE EARTH

The Interact Club of ARGS had conducted an inter-class recycling contest where all classes were required to collect as many recyclable items as possible. This project was carried out from the 9th to 23rd of August, for a duration of two weeks. Each class was given at least two plastic bags for empty plastic bottles, aluminium tins and papers.

The main objective of this project was to instill the recycling habit among students. Recycling is one of the simplest ways to conserve natural resources and basically, to keep the environment green. On the 27th of August, all recyclable items collected, which included plastic bottles, aluminium tins, papers and cardboard boxes, were gathered and sent to the recycling centre.
The three classes that have collected the most recyclable items were :
1st - 2 Mawar 2nd - 1 Mawar
3rd - 1 Kekwa

Congratulations to the winners! The Interact Club would like to thank all students and even teachers for their participation in this community service project. Thank you to fellow Interactors for their cooperation in making this project a success.
Operation Go Green does not end here as the Interact Club would still be collecting more recyclable items. Recycling makes a real difference in energy conservation for the future, so let's all keep a good thing going.

The Interact Club of ARGS is having an inter-class contest where all classes of all forms are required to collect as many recyclable items as possible. The class with most collected recyclable items will win a prize. This community service project is aimed to instill the recycling habit among students and it will be going on for a duration of two weeks (9th to 23rd August 2010).

Interact Club

The first Interact Club was formed in 1962 in Melbourne High School, Florida, USA. Basically, INTERACT is a rotary sponsored service organization for young teenagers (14-18years) that is organized for the purpose of providing an opportunity for young people to work together in a world of fellowship dedicated to service and international understanding.
